Community Water Project

Access to clean and safe drinking water remains one of the most essential needs for sustainable community development. In line with its mission to improve living conditions in Balikumbat, the Balikumbat Development Organization (BADO) has successfully implemented a community water project aimed at providing reliable and safe water to local residents.

This project involved the construction and installation of a modern water catchment and distribution point designed to serve households within the surrounding area. The system ensures easy access to potable water, reducing the burden on women and children who often travel long distances in search of water.

Project Objectives
    •    Provide safe and clean drinking water
    •    Reduce waterborne diseases
    •    Improve hygiene and sanitation standards
    •    Save time and effort spent fetching water
    •    Promote community health and productivity

Community Impact

The newly installed water point is already transforming daily life in the community. Families now have closer access to clean water for drinking, cooking, and sanitation. The project contributes significantly to improved public health, supports local agriculture, and enhances overall quality of life.

Beyond infrastructure, this initiative represents unity and collective responsibility. It demonstrates what can be achieved when community members and partners work together toward a shared goal.

BADO remains committed to expanding access to clean water across Balikumbat and continuing efforts that foster sustainable development for present and future generations.

Together, we build stronger communities.
